«While at work, another «Man at Work» caught my eye: a gardener was trimming a tall hedge – with his body partially exposed. This situation triggered this image series showing men at work – some absorbed by their tasks – others oblivious, focussed or bored, routinely or ambitious, graceful, energetic or amateurish, casual or dead serious, and not infrequently unintentionally funny.»
