Insect farm

The better meat

A reportage by Marvin Zilm.

Edible insects are still rarely on the menu today, but are considered future food. Marvin Zilm was traveling in Holland and was involved in insect breeding. In contrast to conventional meat production, insect production is much more ecological. Whether the protein-containing crawling animals will end up on the plate more often in the future depends on whether the disgust factor can be overcome.
