Surviving in Europa.
A reportage by Christian Grund.
Moria, Europe's largest refugee camp is located on the Greek island of Lesbos. Its population continues to grow and now houses more children, women and men than ever.
Once a military base for 2800 soldiers, it has now over 20'000 inhabitants.
Housed in makeshift tents, without heating and with minimal medical aid.
Children make up over 40% of the population.
Their situation is wretched.
Within the European Union they have been all but abandoned.
Christian Grund visited the refugee camp in the beginning of December 2019 and documented the situation there over several days.
